Brandon is a talented musician, artist, and dancer who came to California all the way from Iowa. He was born with a passion for music, movement, and ballroom that led to his involvement in concert and marching band, as well as jazz band and orchestra. During this time, he was named one of the top tenor saxophone players in the state of Iowa in 2008. With more than a decade worth of instrumental study his desire to experience music in new ways grew even stronger as he was introduced to ballroom, ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, aerial, and acrobatics at the age of 20. Shortly after, Brandon became one of the top aspiring male ballet dancers in Iowa and was asked to join a professional ballet company. This same drive brought him to California where he joined the Arthur Murray team in San Diego to continue his dance career in his true passion, ballroom. With an intense drive to constantly learn he became a rising competitor when he placed 1st in Future Champs Smooth in Las Vegas 2016 within his first 6 months at Arthur Murray. Throughout his dance career, Brandon has trained with some of the world’s top dancers and is excited to share his knowledge with the students here at Sherman Oaks.
