If you are taking part in dance classes, or just hitting the dance floor, you may be paired up with a partner! This is a wonderful way for you to meet someone new, make new friends, and enjoy such a fun hobby with another person.
However, as you dance with your partner, there are some things that you will want to keep in mind!
Are you aware of what your dance partner will want to see you do? If not, you are in luck! As here at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, we have gathered them for you. If you are all set to learn what these things are, be sure to continue reading:
- Be on Time. Your partner can’t dance alone! Therefore, it is important that you show up on time to your classes. By being timely, you can ensure that neither of you fall behind, allowing your to greatly enjoy your time spent out on the dance floor.
- Keep Clean. It’s important that you present great hygiene among the dance floor! After all, if you will be close to another person, you won’t want to come off as unappealing. Showering before your classes as well as wearing deodorant will ensure that you are pleasant to be around!
- Avoid Critiquing. Your partner will want to enjoy their time spent out on the dance floor. Therefore, you should avoid critiquing them! While you may want to provide some constructive criticism, you should leave that up to your instructor. Instead, just enjoy your time dancing!
Dancing with a partner will certainly be a fun experience for you both! These are just a few things that you own partner will want to see from you.
